Throwback Thursday: 2003 in Botswana
Early morning at The Khwai River Lodge in Botswana on 28 June 2003.
Since we were in the southern hemisphere it was wintertime and near freezing. Not particularly a good day for a sunrise swim!
Elephants roamed freely but were not around when I captured this scene. And while I’m on that subject I encourage you to support ongoing efforts to Save African Elephants.
Khwai River Lodge [Botswana – 2003]Taken with a palm-sized Canon PowerShot S30 at the time. It was the second digital camera that I purchased, and the first that I owned that had sensor resolution above 1 Megapixel. It had 3.2 Megapixels and light sensitivity of ISO 800. It shipped with a whopping 16 MB CompactFlash card. 🙂
